Helko Werk Black Forest Pack Axe

Part of the Helko Werk Traditional Collection, the Black Forest Pack Axe is made with a traditional wide bit, German-style woodworking blade. Made in the Rhine Valley in Germany for more than 150 years, these axes are an example of quality craftsmanship that can only be developed through years of experience.
While the axe is best suited to cutting, with the wide bit it will hold up well for any splitting work. Finished with a lightweight American Hickory handle, it makes the axe light enough to carry in your pack and take out to camp. Each axe is sent out complete with an American made leather sheath.
