The Forester is a versatile, reliable general purpose axe. The 1.6kg head is an ideal weight for medium duty cutting / splitting work. This axe is the next in line when a little more power is needed than a compact "boy's" axe. Comes with Helko Werk's standard top grade cow hide 6oz leather adjustable sheath.

  • Hand ground and polished to a mirror finish

  • Individually selected for grain orientation and density
  • Hand finished with boiled linseed oil
  • Traditionally hung using soft wood wedge and round steel pin
