Inspired by the iconic lake in South-Western Tasmania, the Oberon UL shares with its namesake a resolve to remain unmoved by changing weather conditions in remote, harsh environments. Externally poled, this tent can be pitched in minutes, with the inner staying dry, suspended within the outer tent. Additionally, the ability to secure pegs into the ground before pitching amplifies the Oberon’s unmatched ease of handling in high wind conditions. The inner/outer, pole set, and pegs all have separate bags for easy packing, and in temperate conditions (or when going LIGHT) the optional Ground Sheet may be employed in place of the inner. In heavy weather trekking poles can be installed under the transverse ridge pole, to give rock solid, dome-like performance.
