The 5th piece to our highly acclaimed FireChef Chef’s range, the Fillet knife is used for all those fish filleting needs! Our Fillet knives are thinner and more flexible than most other knives, with our blade measuring 7.5 inches. It has a prominent upward curve along the blade and a sharply curved tip. Because the blade is thinner, this knife is perfect for removing scales from a fish while flexing around the contours of its body without damaging the delicate meat. Or cutting those perfectly sliced fish fillets. It is designed with German Steel, so it will not easily rust up on you while using it in salt water.
Fillet knives are designed for use on fish while boning knives. Still, because of the additional length, it is also very good for general delicate cuts. It has a 7.5″ (300mm) blade and a hardwood handle casing ergonomically shaped for a comfortable handgrip that feels second nature.
Weighing a respectable 100 grams, a gentle guide of the blade is all that’s needed for the perfect cut every time. Be warned, this knife is extremely sharp.
Included is a unique canvas sheath with an extra protection layer doubling as a safety feature to protect the knife and anything else from coming into contact with the sharp blade.
